We spent Easter Weekend 2012 here and it was truly wonderful. The perfect place for peace and quiet but lots going on. My husband says it is the best campsite going. Friendly hosts where a warm welcome awaits everyone. Looking forward to going back.

We had the luck to find this little gem. After finding them through the website which was very comprehensive we booked a place at the last minute with no trouble at a very reasonable price Sarah and Ian make you truly welcome with their natural enthusiasm and positive outlook The campsite is basic but has electric hookups available and toilet... Campsites are pretty relaxed places and this is no exception. A perfect spot for a caravan when you want quiet and don't need masses of facilities. TomTom found it easily from the postcode. An exciting country lane approach but not difficult. Level grassy pitch with plenty of space and an easy hook-up. With an Ordnance Survey map there are endless... More

just got back from two weeks of bliss. not only did we all love feeding the goats(adults and three children) but the whole area is so beautiful you never want to leave. the pitches are huge and there is a lovely gap between you and the next person that you simply never get at the more well known campsites. Ian... More

I stayed here with a group of friends and we loved it, the campsite was so peaceful, the portaloo was always clean(!), the goats were a lot of fun, it was great being able to have a campfire every night, and we had a refreshing dip in the nearby ford! It's also in a great location for visiting the local... More

The site was well looked after. Good size pitches. Ian and Sarah made us feel welcome. A real family welcome. Very pretty site and the surrounding area was very inviting, lots of lovely walks and rambles.

My daughter and I have just returned from a lovely, relaxing short break at this simple but well kept campsite. The site is level and pitch sizes generous. Just one portalou so far but I understand additional eco-friendly toilets and showers are in the pipeline. I particularly enjoyed the communal campfire last night and my mug of tea in the... More

We really enjoyed our visit and it is a must to go back. Ian and Sarah were really helpful with places to visit, and the goats were just adorable - could watch them for hours. As the website says it is basic but they are planning compost loos and showers soon Can't wait for my next visit.

We have stayed on basic campsites many times and this one was great with large level pitches, nice and quiet and the farm attractions for the children BUT there is only 1 portaloo for all 15 pitches and this weekend it could not cope with approx 20 adults and 16 children all camping The drinking water taps (2) were being... We had a great bank holiday weekend camping trip to Wookey Farm Campsite. Ian and Sarah looked after us really well and our children enjoyed every minute of it. The campsite is located on small farm near Wookey Hole in Somerset. As a family with young children we prefer the farm experience to the big commercial setups - you can... More
