We stayed in the hayloft for one night and found the room to be clean and very comfortable. The bed was very cost and the tea/coffee facilities well stocked. The owners were very helpful and welcoming, it definitely has a more homely feel than many hotels I have been to. The only downside is the vegetarian breakfast which had veggie... More

We stayed in the Granary for 2 nights, the room was cosy and clean. The mill is a perfect base to explore the area, local pub across the road and Indian within a 10min walk provided a tasty meal at the end of the day. The hosts were very helpful and the salmon and scramble breakfast was amazing. Would recommend... More

Spotless room, a nice breakfast and very friendly owners who have recentrly taken over the mill. We felt very at ease at this B&B. However, the surroundings should be kept a bit more tidy. We understood that with the children at school, there would be more time for such details. The inn on the other side of the road is... More

Our family of four boys and mother in law had a short break with the parents at Burcott Mill. As a haven for young families it is the perfect getaway-even though the prices are a little steep! The beds were excellent, food at breakfast first class and the hospitality very good. The new owners are in the middle of internal... More

Thanks for your comments. A note for visitors with restricted mobility, we do also have a large room on the ground floor which is fully wheelchair accessible (and equipped with grab rails, large doorways, large ensuite wetroom, wheelchair turning space etc) . Unfortunately this room was already booked by someone else for these dates. More

We stayed at Burcott Mill having read reviews and were not disappointed. The bed was without doubt THE most comfortable bed we have ever slept in and the breakfasts were excellent. Steve and Louise were just as friendly and welcoming as reviews said. Three pubs within walking distance - the Ring o Bells in the village has recently changed hands.... More

We had visited the mill tea room a few years ago & vowed that we would stay at Burcott mill when we got the opportunity.I'm so glad we did. Louise, despite having 2 very young children works very hard to make sure her guests are happy and always finds time to chat and offer advice. We stayed in the Old Mill Office which is separate from the rest of the accommodation and nearer the main road, although traffic is very light. The room is spacious and can accommodate 5... More
