Booked this based on tripadvisor reviews. A friendly welcome in the bar, excellent large room with kingsize bed, more of a suite than a room. Very Clean. Freshly cooked breakfast. Very pleased with our stay. Bumped into a couple of other guests who were of the same opinion, so well done Royal Oak.

We stayed for 2 nights in September 2011. Very welcoming, great food and friendly owners and staff. Perfect location for exploring the Dorset area. Didn't need to venture elsewhere for dinner asthe 2 for £10 deal was first class.

We stayed for 3 nights on 11/09-14/09/11. We had a great welcomed break. The food and accomodation was excellent. The staff and Proprietors were very welcoming and helpful.
