Alison was extremely welcoming and the house has a lot of character. The value for money is outstanding - I've paid close to twice what we paid here for equivalent accommodation in other parts of the UK. For evening meals, The Owl And The Pussycat nearby is excellent - don't be put of by the rather custesy name.
