I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Puerto Plata aptmts with my partner. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly gentleman on reception. Great atmosphere plain uncomplicated facilities. There is need of upgrading in a number or areas, wifi is rubbish. The staff are all friendly. Simply put you get what you pay for. I will go back, indeed I was so impressed I've bought an appartment!

We stayed at Puerto Plata for one week in March 2011.The hotel is basic but comes up to 3*
expectations. Although located on a hill, it is quite close to the beach and commercial centre.
