“Needs a good claening and some modernisation”

Stayed in these cottages recently and they were only OK. It appeared that they hadn’t been rented for some time. There was a musty smell in the bedrooms with the whole cottage needed a good cleaning and dusting – cobwebs all over, dirty oven, built up grime in bathrooms. “The Old Stones Cottage - a true pleasure”

Located just 3 km from the picturesque village of Portmagee, Portmagee Seaside Cottages is my favorite Co Kerry retreat. The host is service minded and makes you feel welcome. Stayed at Old Stones cottage with friends and had a terrific time. The cottage leads right down to the see and the views are breath-taking. Portmagee is a very charming little fishing village with some great irish music trad sessions.
