Lovely relaxing hotel in the beautiful town on Lencois. It was clean and friendly staff. good buffet breakfast and efficient tour company with who we booked a fantastic tour of national park. Only downside was really uncomfortable bed!

We stayed here for five nights in January 2012. Overall a good choice. Easy walk to downtown Lencois where most of the resataurants are located. If you prefer you can have dinner at the Pousada although the menu is limited. The grounds at the property are well landscaped with hammocks for relaxing and chairs for lounging. I have spent 3 amazing days in Chapad Diamantina in this great value for money pousada/hostel. The staff was very helpful in organising tours, even if they hadn't the tour you wanted on offer on that day with their agency H2O they tried to make it happen with another agency. We stayed at Pousada Dos Duendes for 3 nights, but would have booked at least one more night if we had the time. The pousada looks great and has the best hang out area to relax in hammocks or just meet up with the other guests and make plans for the excursions. The rooms look really nice and the paintings... Excellent place to discover Lencois and around. They are connected to skilled english speaking guides. Pleasant staff, in reception, kitchen and bar.

The hostel itself was rather nice, we had a hammock on the terrasse. And breakfast is really nice! lots of different cakes to eat! The best in Brazil.
