All reviews prior to Fall 2011 should be disregarded. The Valhalla Inn is under new ownership, and extensive renovations to facilities and rooms have taken place. On January 27th, 2013 I inspected the Inn to see if it would be suitable for housing the many guests coming to town for our Winter Blues Boogie. Here are my findings and assessment:... More

My husband and I have just come back from staying at the Valhalla Inn in New Denver. I read all the reviews before leaving home and had decided on staying somewhere else based on the mediocre reviews that it received. Unknowing to me my husband had already booked us a 2-day stay here. This hotel has just recently been purchased... More

I have stayed here a couple of times, both with small groups of motorcyclists here to enjoy the excellent roads in the area. The #2 and #3 riding roads in Canada are nearby. The first time, the owner reserved an area of the parking lot for our bikes, which kept them safe from cars but also used the space far... More

We rented two suites for four days this summer. No air conditioning in the summer, in this area is absurd. It was sweltering! The food was not bad and some of the staff were nice but the owner, Joan, was particularly impatient, short with my older relatives and rude when asked questions she considered stupid. We also had two parties... More

Despite having a most magnificent Maple tree on the patio in lieu of the Norse Legendary golden tree 'Glasir' which is said to stand in front of the Palace of Valhalla, this Inn is not a 'Palace'. The 'saving grace' of this Inn is the restaurant food. As against that; the bedrooms are pure 1960s; small, cramped without refridgerator or... More

We discovered the Valhalla Inn at the Lower Fraser Valley Bike show. The motorcycle tour package included packed lunches and a tour certificate at the end of our stay. It was not a 4 or even 3 star hotel and we realized that going in. We booked this room with a kitchenette very early in the year and paid extra... More

This is the classic family owned and small town hotel. The carpet is a bit grubby; kids work as waiters and the locals congergate in the pub. The rooms are basic with very surprisingly pink fixtures. In other words, if you are looking for a basic bed to rest your bones after enjoying cycling, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing or the other... More
