We spent a night at this historic fortified manor house tucked well away from the madding crowd. We were given a warm welcome by owners Sue and Dave and were shown our bedroom which was in one of the wings of this ancient house. The bedroom was delightful with period furniture and it even had a medieval loo which thankfully... More

We stayed here five years ago and always said we would return, we had hoped a little sooner than five years! As before Sue and David made us so welcome and fussed over us as they were so worried that we would be cold in the bitter March weather. We were the only guests and more or less had the... More

My girlfriend and I visited for a weekend, staying on a Friday and Saturday night and had a wonderful time. Sue and David (S&D) were charming; the perfect hosts. They have beautifully restored the c13th century medieval manor house and their eclectic style is reflected in every room. The bedrooms are all unique in character, clean, comfortable and well appointed.... More

We visited here for my partners birthday in 2010. It was December and very cold. We arrived after much deliberation as to wether we would make it but it was a surprise that i didnt want my partner to miss. It is every bit as beautiful as it looks on the pictures and made even more beautiful by the welcoming... More

Ten of us stayed here begining of September for Friday & Saturday night. Sue & David were excellent hosts and cooked an excellent evening meal for us all on the Saturday. This house is a beautiful old home dating from the 12th century. Quaint is an understatement. The surrpunding area is perfect place to unwind for a weekend. Also close... More

We visited Llanmihangel house for our annual get-together with friends and enjoyed a sit down meal for 12. The house is amazing and steeped in history. It was the perfect setting for a post new year meal with roaring open fire to welcome us. Dave and Sue were perfect hosts and the meal was both reasonable and delicious! I fully... More
