Lovely welcome from the owner after a very long walk as part of the Great Glen Way, on arrival we were offered coffee/tea and home baking in the lounge served by our host even although there were tea making facilities in the room, along with tunnocks teacakes. Beautiful room, lovely breakfast and great hosts, would definately recommend to others.

We stayed in Spean Bridge because there was nothing available in Fort William. Turned out to be a stroke of luck for us. Leslie and Peter were as accommodating and helpful as could be, and Distant Hills was a lovely B&B. Breakfasts were delicious, with lots of fruits, juices, cereal and a hot menu as well. Leslie was so helpful... More

Stayed here recently with a friend whilst doing some hiking locally and couldn't have been more impressed. Peter and Leslie are the most welcoming hosts, their customer service is second to none - we arrived late on the Friday night and upon learning we were going up Ben Nevis the next day we were immediately furnished with advice on conditions,... Our son and new daughter in law were staying at "The Pines" for their wedding following the service at "Grig Falls" booked us into the "Distant Hills". What a treat. Nothing could be faulted form the greeting on arrival to us leaving. Our rooms were spotless (as was the rest of the property) with everything you would ever need from... More

We stayed at Distant Hills because our favourite B&B at Corriechoille Lodge (which is the best B&B in Scotland, by far) was full. We did expect it to be something of a let down as it is in the village of Spean Bridge and close to a main road, but it is set far enough back not to suffer from... More

We stayed here for 2 nights originally whilst walking the East Highland Way and loved it so much we went back for another 5 nights. Peter and Lesley are superb hosts, the accommodation is spotless and the breakfasts are second to none. So many nice resonance touches like a bottle of wine in our room for my husbands birthday along... More

I can't say enough good things about Distant Hills - we stayed here as part of our walk along the Great Glen Way, and we'll go out of our way to come back. Peter and Lesley couldn't have been nicer, the location is lovely, the whole B&B is spotless, the shower great and the breakfast - yum! Best B&B I've... More

Hello folks That must be the most quickly posted review ever! You only left yesterday morning. :-) Whilst I remember I hope you enjoyed the scenery on Day Two of the Great Glen Way. It was on that stretch we picked the brambles the other day and the colours of the trees all around are fantastic. Thank you for your... More

Hello Chris It was great to meet you and Simon. You are the tidiest/neatest bikers we have ever come across! We are glad you enjoyed the lounge which we think is one of the best features of the property. Our rooms are not huge so having the lounge (which seats 11) to relax in is a real asset. Many great... It was our first time to the Highlands and we've just stayed for 6 nights at this wonderful Guest House. Was very impressed with all the great reviews and our expectations were not disappointed.
