We have just enjoyed a perfect short break at Cloonlara, there were six of us (3 couples) in our family, so we occupied all three rooms. A warm welcome from Bernadette and Brian, who were very accomodating as we all arrived at different times. The rooms are beautifully decorated and fully equiped with comfortable beds, flatscreen TVs, tea and coffee... More

Me and my 12 year old son arrived earlier then I had stated, but Bernadette was welcoming. The Louisa room was imaculate. We where shown the dinning room, which was also spotless. Breakfast was relaxing and lovely, Brian cooked a mean sausage.Wish we had more than a night there, I am hoping to return again this year. I would highly... More

We received a very warm welcome and stayed in the very cosy and clean Victorian TULIP ROOM with a very comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom (incl. a powerful shower). The B&B is located very near to the town centre/sea front but still provides a quiet stay. During our one-night stay we enjoyed some nice chats with Bernadette and Brian,... More

We spent 3 nights in Cloon Lara and would unhesitatingly recommend it as a great place to stay. Bernadette welcomed us very warmly and gave us plenty of helpful information about the town. We stayed in Lousia room which was very tastefully decorated , spotlessly clean and had a view of the sea. The bed was beautifully comfortable with crisp... More

We had a lovely, relaxing weekend staying in Cloonlara in Broadstairs. The B&B is beautifully decorated and is spotlessly clean and is in a great location. We stayed in the Burgundy Room and the room is bright and airy. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. A really lovely stay - highly... More

We have just returned from a brilliant weekend in Broadstairs. The Cloonlara is a wonderful place to stay, close to the sea, shops and restaurants. Bernadette and Brian are such friendly hosts who obviously believe in going that extra mile to ensure that guests' needs are accommodated and this was very much appreciated. This is without doubt the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in. I am writing this on our last morning and we don't want to leave! It is more like a hotel. We stayed in the Louisa Room, from which you can see the sea. The room is spotless and has a huge bed and lovely modern bathroom. Lots of... More

We stayed at Cloonlara on 11 April 2013 in the Burgundy Room. This is a large room with TV, en-suite, tea and coffee and a very, very comfortable bed. The quality of the room and the breakfast was top notch. It felt like a real home from home. Cloonlara is spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The breakfasts were excellent. One... More

I would thoroughly recommend this B&B. Lovely, bright, clean room (we had the tulip room). Good shower and high quality towels and bedding. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Milk downstairs in a little fridge for you to use for tea and you can put your own drinks in the fridge too. Hosts were very friendly and it is excellent value. If... More
