We recently had an overnight stay in the very beautiful Ring, Co. Waterford. Having never been there before I was taken aback by the extent of the welcome. It was as if we were distant family coming home from abroad. Joe showed us around gave us tips where to go out & even offered to drive us into Dungarvan. The... More

We discovered Dun Ard in 2012...and could not wait to return. After being the Grand Marshal of the St. Patrick's Festival (Clane, Co. Kildare), we headed down through the lashing rain and gale force winds to the comfort of Dun Ard. Joe & Annie met us with their usual warmth and grace. Dun Ard was spotless, with sumptuous breakfasts, great... More

Dun Ard was first rate from the helpful hosts, Joe and Anne; to the beautifully decorated rooms, in-room tea and coffee, and delicious breakfast in the lovely dining room. We chose one of Joe's suggestions in Dungarvan for dinner, and were very pleased. This was our second trip to Ireland, and we've stayed in many B & B's. This is... More

After arriving in the late evening we were greeted by one of the owners. He was very pleasant and helped us with local insight. The room was clean, large and had views of the Bay. There was a quant local pub 5 min walking from the accommodations, which had great pizza. The room had a comfortable bed, nice shower, and... More

We're just back from a 4 night stay in Ireland, driving between Rosslare & Kinsale, and we stayed with Joe and Anne on nights 1 and 3. I really don't think there's anything much I can add to the large number of fantastic reviews that their B&B has received, except to say that they're all completely justified. We had two... More

Six of us had booked a cottage in County Kerry for a week and arranged to stayed in Dun Ard for one night on the way out, having crossed over from the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare. Joe and Anne are fantastic hosts and couldn't have been more welcoming - truly beautifull rooms and a fantastic breakfast.. Very highly recommended.
