Staff is very friendly and Service is perfect. The area is very secure. Al ot of coffee shops and restaurant within the same area.

Visited Crete last year and Kalyves was our favourite spot. Stayed in Villa Georgia appartments which were lovely - up a short hill at the harbour end of the village only 2 minutes from beach. I stayed at this hotel, and although at first the room is nice, I experinced some minor problems. It is situated in a field. Perhaps as it is new and not such a developed area about 1/2 km from the beach. The room was infested with insects so take repellant with you and keep the window closed at all times.... More
