Just come back from staying at the Athanasia apts. It was basic but adequate for our needs. Hotel owners were very helpful and pleasant. We got what we paid for, and it was value for money. Don't pay Blackpool B+B prices and expect the Ritz.

I stayed here in August 2008 (couldnt enter the date in correctly as trip advisor doesnt have provision for review over 1 year). My husband and I were allocated the rooms across the road, which were (at that time) a new adition to the property. After being unable to find the property for half an hour in the middle of...

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this property, although we were originally booked in to the Philoxenia, but 5 days before our holiday, we were told by good old Thomas Cook that our room was no longer available as the Philoxenia had been over booked! The travel agency reassured us that the Athanasia was of an...

We went last August and the room was terrible. It had nothing to do with the pictures shown at internet. The room was complete obscure, the lamp was really soft, it was unclean, the bedroom was ugly, old and dirty. We decided to stay just for one night and get moved the following day but when we tried to sleep...

Value for money in a quiet location near beach, shops and restaurants. We were first in a new room which was lovely but had no cooking facilities so were moved to one that had. The second room had a huge balcony ( room 14). Cooking facilities limited but this seems to be a greek, rather than hotel specific, thing. Basic...

Very good rooms for the price, large and beautiful Greek design. Bed sheets were changed everyday, ironed and cleaned for a 2 star hotel, but the blankets were not that much clean and would smell awful. Very polite and nice hotel personnel. Very close to the main street and supermarkets, and very close to the beach.
But a very small...

Don't expect anything flash when you arrive, particularly in the older part of the hotel. The rooms are 'typically Greece'.... basic. But what you do get is a family run hotel with people who can't do enough for you. This was our second time here and in fact this was our Honeymoon. The first time we went we did some...

Kitchen corner was very small (1 meter long) and very poor equipped (1 small pot, plastic plates and rusty cutlery). Water in shower was salty (little bit less than in the...
