The sky was a perfect blue without a cloud in sight. The table was laid on the beautiful terrace with a view of the wonderful gardens. Topiary abounds. The tapas style lunch was a real tantalising of the taste buds. Each course wonderfully prepared, gorgeously presented & great tastes. The professional staff friendly and competent.

We stayed in Le Vieux Logis during a trip through Le Perigord region and really liked it. The rooms are small but lovely. We highly recommend this hotel. Quiet area but close to lots of chateaux, Sarlat, Cahors... Everything was perfect. Staff were very pleasant and friendly (big change from Paris!) The restaurant deserves their one star Michelin. Will go back with pleasure.

A gorgeous way to start 2012. Beautifully presented dining room, professional friendly staff & a tastefully created menu. Each dish was superbly executed, colourful & a treat or the taste buds. This is probably one of the finest restaurants in the Dordogne if one is seeking Haute Cuisine.
