I spent a week at Casa Cecilia in January, and two weeks in March and have to say it is the best value anywhere in Costa Rica. It has the best beach location anywhere with shade trees and hammocks where you can relax without the crowds of other places in St Teresa. As a surfer, the beach break here can... More

Sophie and I and our seven year old daughter Tabitha had the pleasure of staying here in February this year for two weeks, we were invited to a great friends wedding and she had suggested this was a great place to chill, it did not undersell , we were lucky enough to secure the master room on the first floor... I was introduced to Casa Cecilia through a friend who got married next to it on the beach. It's an attractive beach house, a hundred yards from the road and 30 yards to the beach. It is still remote enough to be able to pretend you're the only one around, though Cashpoints, bakeries, a good selection of restaraunts all a... More

A clean, comfortable place right on the sand. The staff is friendly and the manager, Don is incredible and works hard to ensure your taken care of with dining, activities and accommodations! The week we spent at Casa Cecelia was very relaxing and would highly recommend for singles, couples and family with older kids.

I just spent (2) weeks at Casa Cecilia and each day got better and better. What makes Casa Cecilia special is so many things. First, Don Martinez, the manager is incredible. He takes so much care of his guests and of Casa Cecilia. Don is more than a hotel manager, he will become your friend. Second, Casa Cecilia is a... More

This was the last place I stayed in the area and by far it had the best location. Your room will open right onto the beach in a much less crowded area then just down the road in Playa Carmen. Right outside your door you can enjoy great surfing, beautiful sunsets or just relax in the hammocks and do nothing.... More

I have to begin this review by prefacing that I have been a long time "all inclusive" traveler, loving the goregous destinations and easiness of having everything planned out for the entire vacation. That mindset had quite an eye opening on our recent trip to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Getting there. Well depending on where you are coming in from,... More

You've read it here and hands down this place has the best location and a very chilled vibe. My husband and I spend a week there in December (we would have stayed longer but the place was fully booked) and we loved every second of it. The place is just a small house with only 6 rooms so you feel... More

We spent a week in the Casa Cecilia and loved it. With ocean view and sound of the ocean. You are directly by the sea and can surf whenever the waves come. Don helped us to find an accommodation as we stand ad hoc in front of his hotel and he could not give us a room spontaneously because of... More

If you want a beach front B and B in Santa Teresa this is the hotel. The manager and staff are terrific. They will help you with any request. It is a very clean simple hotel directly in front of the best surf spot in Santa Teresa. You can spend the day lounging in the hammock watching the surfers, sunsets... More
