LOCATION: Eleven-kilometer drive from Perth International Airport. Free parking. HOTEL: Slow and chaotic check-in. Fast check-out. OK room. Clean. Uncomfortable beds and pillows. Low shower water pressure. CONCLUSION: Decent hotel for a short stay only.

This hotel is expensive and not particularly nice, but is close to the airport and has a dependable airport shuttle. If you have a really early flight, as we did, and don't have to spend to much time at the hotel, it works.

For such a busy airport, I can't undertand why there are no airport hotels in Perth. The only reason I stayed here was because I was attending a small conference being held on the property. It was cheap, but you got what you paid for. Finding a reasonably priced hotel can be a struggle for the business traveller. The Comfort Inn is approximately 8 minutes from the domestic terminal. I like the 24 hour hotel desk (which is usually staffed by two employees). The overall atmosphere feels like a movie set from Los Angeles in the 1950s - which isn't a bad thing. Just quirky.
