We stayed with Daniel and Carmen in Vinales for 4 days between 27th and 31st December 2011. The casa was easy enough to find from where we got dropped off by the bus. Vinales town isn't a big place so the casa was about 5 minutes’ walk from the main square. We arrived and were greeted with a very warm... More

My family and I had the fortunate opportunity to meet and stay with the family of Carmen and Daniel. It made a total difference in the Cuban experience! Staying with a local family, meeting the local community, experience what life is like in Cuba, that's what it was all about. This is a very loving cuban family, we were received... More

Cuba isn't exactly the most honestly friendly place and sometimes you feel that everyone talking to you is trying to get some or more money out of you, even or perhaps especially when they're smiling at you. However, Daniel had me over for a good price (15) since I was traveling alone and gave me a really filling dinner for... More

We stayed with Carmen and Daniel for three nights. We had chosen them based on other reviews from tripadvisor, and as usual, we weren't disappointed. Although our bus arrived hours later than expected in Vinales, Senor Daniel was calmly waiting for us at the bus station. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, he and his family... More

The real highlight here is the food, which was abundant, and MUCH better than either the buffet or the restaurants in my 4-star hotel in Varadero, or the few places in Havana I tried. The food was simpler but better prepared, and the tropical fruit was always perfectly ripe. I wish all food in Cuba was that good. I should... More

We selected this house based on TripAdvisor ranking and we surely did not regret it: the hosts, particularly Daniel, have been soooo kind, present and discrete at the same time. You need them, they are there, you want privacy, they disappear. Daniel prepared us the best mojito we drunk in Cuba: ask him his special recipe.....Their house is in a... More

A, no [--], do it now rather than later, host which will accomodate all your needs, whether you want it or not :). The room we stayed in was nice but book this casa for the food and make sure to eat all meals here, lunch included (which you have to specifically ask for). Nice prices and good taste. Do... More

We were three couples staying here and at Lucilio and Nirma next door. The two families get along so well that it was like one big house. Both families are sweet, friendly and generous. Daniel makes a dynamite mojito and is an amazing chef. He prepared a dinner of lobster, tuna and much more that was the best meal we... More

Muchas gracias Daniel y Carmen! Sheltered, very clean and safe Casa, located couple blocks from the main street of Vinales. Food is tasteful & delicious -and Daniel cooks so big portions that you have do your best to eat everything:) We also drank our best mojitos during our 3,5 week trip in Cuba! Highly recommendable and friendly Casa Particular :)... More

English: We spent a very nice time in "casa particular" Carmen y Daniel. Both of them did their best to make us feel as we were at home. Although their daugther was in hospital, because of the birth of her second baby, Daniel was with us everynight, and also Carmen. Their little niece, Ana, help them whenever she can. She... More
