Our group was bumped out of Hotel Soroa so that was a bad start compounded by many having to change rooms - terrible drain smells, locks not working and the inevitable Cuban plumbing problems. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a GAP Adventures week-long tour of western Cuba. The hotel is located far enough outside Pinar del Rio city that if you don't have your own transportation you are stuck there. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though.
