The food was nice, relativley cheap, staff were lovely, only thing I can complain about was the car park! It was right at the back of the hotel which was on a bit of a steep slope! It is Quite a dark pub though, poor lighting, apart from that its great

Visted First week in August, lunchtime Thursday. Ordered a lager and a coke.No coke available but the manager said he could get some later from the cellar. Soldiered on and changed our drinks order. The manager then had no change from a 20 pound note. Came back a few hrs later and still no coca cola and brought our own small... More

We stayed here for one night after having a disaster with previous accomodation in the area. The owners couldn't do enough for us, they let us check in early, and wasn't too pushy when we overlaid the following day after being at a wedding and having a fair few to drink! The rooms are lovely & modern, warm & comfortable.... More

My friend and I planned to stay in Westkilbride for four nights while visiting a friend that lived there in town. Our friend recommended this hotel as it was very convenient to her house, and in a nice area close to the "Hydro" hotel where we ate several wonderful meals. We checked in at around 9:00 p.m. on a Wednesday... More

Stayed for 1 night as we were attending a wedding reception next door in the Hydro. Welcoming and friendly check in/check out. Had dinner in the restaurant. Excellent food at very reasonable prices with great service.Room was very comfortable and quiet despite facing onto the main road and had everything we needed for a short break. Hospitality tray was well... More

Althought the food in the restaurant was enjoyable the remainder of my stay was poor. First of all was that despite the price being for Bed and Breakfast, the breakfast is only served from 9am - 10am which meant I couldnt have anything to eat, had to go to the Hydro Resort off my own back and ask if I...
