New owners and let's hope that they succeed where others have failed. Had two meals here - a light lunch and a few weeks later an evening meal. Both were good value for money, very tasty and obviously prepared with a great deal of care. I would have given a rating of 5 but I am waiting to see if... More

We had a great lunch here a couple of weeks ago, en route to Carradale. The food was superb and the staff were really friendly - I think we spoke to all four owners! It's very child friendly with excellent changing facilities and toys on hand to keep the littlies busy. We will definately be back.

On arrival, the proprietors were friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed - right down to takeaway cups for coffee as we had... More

"She Who Would Command" and I stopped by the hotel for lunch after getting off the ferry from Islay - as we have for many years. But...but this year we were gobsmacked by the simple yet remarkable lunch we had. SWWC had soup while I tucked into the best fish and chips I've had in years. What's more they've made... More

Took a wee drive one day over Christmas 2011 with my wife Yvonne, while visiting my hometown Tarbert, Loch Fyne. Stopped off for lunch at the West Loch Hotel. Warm greeting, friendly atmosphere. Top notch seafood, just as you would expect from the best fishing village on the west coast...! Nice and quiet chilled out lunch, sitting in the conservatory.... More
