Beautiful , peaceful location with superb views over the loch. We stayed in the family room which was spacious , comfortable , had a great view and with the most glorious bedding ! The room provided hot chocolate , biscuits , toiletries as well as the usual tea and coffee. Breakfast was fantastic. we had eggs, bacon , regular sausages... More

This is a lovely B&B, with charming hosts who took the time to suggest local points of interest and help me with car trouble! My room had a fabulous view over Loch Fyne. Breakfast was over generous. My only regret is my stay was so brief, and my work plans were changed when I planned to stay there en route... More

We stayed here at Louise and Peter's house for a week's holiday. The house is an easy, flat walk from the centre of Tarbert. Located right by the water you can see across the Loch and the light on the water is suberb, always changing and very beautiful. A lovely place for exploring from. We like walking and the hill... We enjoyed our one night stay here at Hogmanay. (New Year's Eve). Well done and thank you to the friendly and efficient owners, Louise and Peter, for being open on that date. An attractive, unusual house, Dunivaig had a welcoming atmosphere. The room was comfortable, the view beautiful, and breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. An enjoyable stay... More

Tarbert is an interesting working fishing port and Dunivaig is well situated along a short, pretty coastal drive from the town, with lovely views over the water. The room was clean with quality furnishings although as it was the family room it was a little crowded with spare bed plus futon chair. Breakfasts were plentiful and the kippers were the... More

Dunivaig was our 1st B&B on our week's holiday walking the Kintyre Way. The locations was lovely - nice and quiet, but just a short walk to restaurants in town. Parking was great. We got a very warm welcome. The bed could have been comfier, but the room was great. Breakfast was wonderful. Lovely views. Would highly recommend it. (NB.... More

The B&B is ideally located around a quiet corner in Pier road and our room like the others commands superb views across Loch Fyne. Tarbert is a charming village rich in history. Peter and Louise are warm and friendly hosts. Breakfast was of a high standard and we would have no hesitation in recommending the B&B to our friends.

We stayed here for 2 nights having booked at very short notice. The welcome we received was friendly though maybe not as warm as we would have liked. The room (with a stunning view over the loch) was clean, tidy and well-equipped but the en-suite was extremely small and cramped, and a couple of extra teabags on the hospitality tray... More

Nice clean rooms with adequate facilities. We arrived around 5:30 in the evening and were not greeted in an openly friendly manner, more of that we were causing an inconvenience. We stayed one night prior to our ferry to Islay on the sunday morning. When we enquired about breakfast, the proprietor advised that they were not aware of ferry times... More

We are very upset that you were so disappointed with your visit to Dunivaig. We love Dunivaig and want all our guests to enjoy it too. We have had many lovely guests, people who we otherwise would not have had the pleasure of meeting if they had not stayed with us. Obviously on this occasion we fell short of the... More

We stayed here for our first night when we walked the Kintyre Way. We must say that this was definitely the best B&B that we stayed at in Kintyre. The house and room was lovely and clean with fantastic sea views. Tea, herbal tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water were provided in the room. Also provided was a... More
