Impressive guest house. Very warm welcome by owners. Very comfortable bed. Useful advice where to eat received. I would recommend At The Chapel at Bruton. Altogether, very enjoyable break to re-visit many places known to me in years gone by.

An excellent base for a relaxing short break in beautiful countryside. We were made very welcome and were well looked after. Generous portions and wide choice at breakfast included homemade bread and preserves. Good advice about places to visit and routes to walk. Extras included use of maps, a newspaper at breakfast and flapjack on return for tea.

We stayed for one night during a road trip through Southern England, and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, beautiful room, helpful hostess and the very nice breakfast in the morning. Definitely worth a revisit.

We loved everything about Castleton House. The village is delightful with nice places to eat and small shops. We stayed as a family for our son's wedding, Gail couldn't have been kinder. The breakfasts were delicious, particularly the Eggs Benedict! Highly recommended. We'll be back.
