We had a very warm welcome from Lesley who picked us up from the station in Haltwhistle. Our room was lovely, warm , clean and with everything we needed. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Looking forward to a return visit!

Our two night stay provided everything walkers needed. The room was spacious, the greeting was warm and unhurried, the fresh off the farm breakfast was excellent and we really felt looked after. Very good value.

Very handy for the Roman sites. We also visited Beamish Museum and Alnwick Gardens and Castle.

We spent 2 weeks in Chapel View Cottage at Kellah Farm. Great cottage with 2 large bedrooms and a large kitchen with many appliances including a washing machine (but no dishwasher) and a private garden. The children's play area is next door. Kellah farms provides a peaceful and charming place to stay with a friendly and attentive host. Breakfasts here are filling and delicious with all locally sourced ingredients including fresh eggs from the farm yard! This B&B was very well furnished and Leslie provided an extremely good breakfast. However, you really need a GPS/SatNav to find it easily since it is well off the beaten path. That does make it an extremely quiet location. The provision of a very nice sitting room was another plus. It is a B&B we can recommend very strongly.
