It's worth the trip to Portugal just to stay at Paco da Gloria - a stunning yet intimate 1730's palace/manor house overlooking the Lima River Valley. We were invited to stay here as part of a wedding party. It was nothing short of absolutely spectacular - the rooms, the villa, the views, the pool, the staff and the food were all divine. This is a world all its own.

We felt like the Lord and Lady of the Manor. This is a beautiful old manor near Ponte de Lima. We stayed in the main house in a huge antique filled room.
