A completely different type of ristorante for my friends from Austin Texas. My wife and I with Michele and Jim had a splendid meal with regional cuisine that will be long remembered. The waiter was extremely attentive and offered suggestions for superb wines. Truly a Tuscan experience in the hills of Chianti. This is the real thing !!

We spent a great time there. The atmosphere was unique and incomparable. You can live in an ancient monastery with authentic rooms. Very romantic views and great restaurant where can you book a cooking lesson. Beautiful the garden and and the swimming pool. Great location for visiting the Chianti area and Tuscan region.

My wife and I visited the Abbey and had a fantastic lunch at the restaurant. Great fresh ingredients and wonderful service and the setting is fantastic!

And have already looked at it for next year. We came for lunch twice we loved the restaurant so much....and then did the tour of the B&B. Why did we not know about this before we booked San Sano? Which we also loved......but would recommend lunch here as a minimum and the accommodation and pool look fabulous.

This place is unbelievable. If you love history this is your chance to live in a past era with some modern amenities, not air conditioning. Beautifully manicured gardens. Nice secluded pool. Centrally located. Nice Breakfast. Lovely wines. GREAT restaurant, we ate at the restaurant both nights we stayed here. I would most highly recommend Badia a Coltibuono.
