This is a beautiful, clean and relaxing hotel to stay in. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with and went out of their way to help. More

Excellent hotel , in peaceful village of Normady , the hotel is very romantic , cosy , well furnished. Moreover it has a wonderful panoramic view to the sea canal of the village. The restaurant serves good , top quality dishes and it is very cosy. The room are not very big but very comfortable and provided of all facilities. More

The hotel overlooks the pleasure port and has parking in front and a very attractive garden in back. Our room was attractive and nicely furnished, but extremely small even by European standards. We left one of our suitcases in the car because we could not think where to put it and still be able to move around the room. The... More

We had a room on the top floor facing the sea - lower ones might not have a view, but this meant taking our luggage up two flights of stairs. The restaurant had a good menu, but the food while acceptable seemed to us to be slightly on the pretentious side. The hotel is only a short walk from the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel and it was very cosy and clean. We were a little disappointed that we were given twin beds alongside each other rather than a double bed but it didn't affect our stay too much. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very well furnished with complimentary wifi and a flatscreen... More

There are a variety of menus on offer including a 19 euro two course lunch offering (either entrée and plat or plat and dessert), which was a smoked salmon entrée followed by a fish plat with tomato salsa, both nicely presented and perfectly cooked. The 19 euros included a nice pre-starter, but desserts were extra (our 14 euro choice from... More

We chose this hotel because it's only 20 miles from Cherbourg therefore ideal for catching the ferry the next morning, and were delighted with it. It is quiet, very stylish and beautifully decorated with a very pretty garden. Our room was small but had two windows overlooking the garden, so felt quite spacious, and was decorated in restful shades of... More

We stayed for just one night and would have liked to stay longer and explore the area more. We had a lovely room overlooking the river. The room was delightfully decorated and the bedlinen was of a high quality. The bathroom was a reasonable size and again very tastefully decorated with grey tiles and a stylish mirror, a far cry... We stayed here as a stop off on our way back from France before catching the ferry. The hotel decor was really lovely and the welcome very professional. The hotel is however very small and the bedroom we were allocated was particularly small. I have to say we have never stayed in a room so small and it felt a... More

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from a short trip to the UK (Stayed at Overton Grange, Ludlow which we highly recomend!) The Hotel des Ormes has been stunningly renovated which fantastic colours of pale blue, sand and terracotte. Our room, 11, overlooked the marina and was beautiful. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open the couple of... More
