One night stay before boarding ferry to Ko Tao. Had to get transport from where minivan stopped. But room itself was well located for food and known locally for early morning pickup to pier. Room was great value (490 thb), big, secure. Would recommend.

I stay in Chumphon a lot, but this was the first time I had stayed In the 'gardens'. It's not the easiest place to be objective about, because of the low tariff charged. I rated it average, simply because tripadvisor do not have a category that represents pretty good, and I couldn't stretch myself to calling it very good. OK... More

Picked this hotel simply on the merits of it being open and having a car park. Room was cheap (about 490 baht) and clean enough, but the bathroom was a little bit grim (it was a wet room with a horrific looking shower.) It did have wi-fi (but didn't have a security box in the room.) There wasn't much near... More

We arrived at the hotel by vip bus from Bangkok. This meant we were there at about 4:30 in the morning. The hotel was open and we checked in to two rooms, one for us and one for the two kids. Only 490 baht for each room and even though we were checking in before 5am it was confirmed that... More

Nothing fancy. The rooms are a little dated, the carpet there is not really appetising, the mattresses were quite saggy, but all in all still good value for money (590 Baht including breakfast). Internet worked fine, too and the hotel is centrally located. We may come back to this place. They have a big parking which is convenient for people... More

Located in a 'tourist-serving' neighborhood, it suits us very well. Directly across the street from a small guesthouse which has a great menu for Thais or Foreigners. Travel ticket places are all around. Chumphon is basically a Thai city but growing into a tourist hub - connections are easily available to the local islands- Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan.

I really do not like whinging but i'm sorry i have to write this review. We booked months in advance direct with the hotel for one night 8th January and another night 24th January 2012. Never being to Chumphon before we couldn't find the hotel so we asked a motor bike taxi guy if he knew where it was. He... More

The hotel is located not so far from the train station with walking distance to some restaurants nearby. The plus points are reasonable price , clean , free wifi. We stayed only a night before taking another trip to Koh Tao which we can take a free shuttle bus of Lomprayah Catamaran to the pier easily ( just opposite the... More

On the plus side, the hotel is well located within a ten minute walk from the train station and five minutes from Farang Bar (across the road), a shopping mall, seven-11 and food stalls. The room was clean and tidy and with a reasonably comfortable bed. Less positive was the shower, which was a small trickle of lukewarm water and... More
