Still a great hotel for transit to other destinations. We stayed here 2 years ago and again in March 2012. Modern and clean. The hotel is very busy for Thai business and weddings. Not all staff speak Engish but there is usually someone around that can help. Buffet breakfast included in very reasonable room rate.

For people taking boats to visit the crowded islands of Koh Tao and Koh Panghan, Chumphon is the best option for the pier to take the boat (located 20 km for the city center). After missing our bus from Chumphon to Khao Sok we decided to stay the night there. There aren't really many great hotels in Chumphon but the travel agency gave us the address for Nanaburi and we checked it out. It was only built a couple if years ago and is an excellent place to stay whilst waiting for the boat... More

I have been nicely surprised by this new beautiful Hotel which accommodates guests at a walk-in price of only 700 Baht/night. The service is very firnedly and staff mostly enjoyable. Regretful that everthing is in Thai ONLY... Jack

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Nanaburi Hotel in Chumphon in Nov, 08. The hotel is new and immaculately clean. Great location to explore the town. Staff was outstanding- very helpful & friendly.
