We'd stayed in the Ginger in Mysore and had loved it so gave Haridwar a try. Really quite disappointed by comparison - just seemed a bit dowdy and down at heel. Typical Ginger variety. No frills but good for a transit or a couple of days stay. Restaurant again with frills. Nice stopover for Rishikesh either ways. Guess you need to book in advance.
