HAd been to haridwar for personal trip and stayed in ginger. The rooms are very clumsy and very small. They are not at all worth for what they charge. Cleanliness is not maintened. Positive point is they have a Cafe coffee day outlet down, which serves good snacks. Also it is bit farway from the ghat so becomes difficult to... More

Booked this hotel online via their website. The Ginger Hotel in Haridwar is basic and good value. It has everything you need but has the self service approach! When you arrive you take in your own luggage. There is a lift so fairly easy. This means there are no tips to pay lol! We had two joining rooms ... one... More

I have never been a Ginger fan. Unfortunately, we had to stay in Ginger Haridwar due to some commitments. It has a very lazy reception with every activity is to be done by you only. Right from carrying your luggage to the room while checking in or to carry back to a Taxi while checking out. One comes to a... More

Even though they advertised the hotel, claiming they had internet, which is why I booked. I arrived to find there was no internet and had not been for a while. The hotel was also run down, with a depressive atmosphere Overpriced for the service they are giving. I left after 3 nights and went too stay in Hari heritage which was much nicer... More

We'd stayed in the Ginger in Mysore and had loved it so gave Haridwar a try. Really quite disappointed by comparison - just seemed a bit dowdy and down at heel. The travel counter was not very helpful (and very expensive) and the beautician butchered my nails so badly that I felt like crying when I saw what she'd done.... More

The hotel is located a bit away from the ghats. So if you are going there to see the ghats or for some religious purpose, be prepared to travel (about 3-4 kms) a bit to the ghats. However the hotel is good although there were a few issues with the service. The restaurant is good and a pleasure in a... More

Typical Ginger variety. No frills but good for a transit or a couple of days stay. Restaurant again with frills. Nice stopover for Rishikesh either ways. Guess you need to book in advance.

Just to follow american motel style to avoid room service (the best concept of Indian hotels) is not good Idea. I think Ginger frenchises have no concept of hospitality. or they are not aware of the "word". the staff is very untrained and rude. specially females(!). this because of the lack of training. (owners needs to learn first) I was... More
