We had a fabulous time at Ekuthuleni. We stayed there for two nights and also stayed two nights at another lodge in Welgevonden. We found the staff at Ekuthuleni very friendly and attentive and really tried to make our stay enjoyable. As a highlight we were lucky enough to encounter cheetah on three occasions. Regarding Kevin T's review I would like to respond as follows: We have a specific pick up time at the main gate as the reserve management do not allow private vehicles in the reserve and also as a result of the lodge being an hour's drive from the gate. This is an amazing lodge in the centre of the private game reserve Welgevonden, the accomodation is lovely, the staff are friendly, polite, knowledgable and efficient. The food is delicious. Spent 3 nights here this past weekend for my second anniversary and truly enjoyed every minute.
