Lake Wanaka is beautiful and the Lakeview Motel helps show it off. As others have noted, this is not a modern accommodation, but it is clean, roomy, and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. True free internet and everything needed for self-catering. If you enjoy fantastic views and a nice hike, do the trek up Mt. Iron before leaving the area!
