My husband and I decided to stay at this wonderful B&B for my 50th birthday treat, and what a treat it was!! Sean and Rosetta deserve every great accolade for this lovely family run business. Their hosting was fantastic, the food glorious, and the room 5 star. The towns people of Durrow (we did a pub crawl) were so welcoming.... More

We were staying in Abbeyleix and recommended by fellow members of the Laios hunt. We were not disappointed. There is a pretty little bar on the right as you enter and then two dining areas with a nice atmosphere. The meal was excellent - good value for money and a lovely choice of starters, main courses and puddings. The wines... More

Well appointed B&B and restaurant in Durrow. Like some other recent reviewers, spent a couple of nights here for a wedding at the nearby castle. Rooms well furnished and spotlessly clean. Hosts made us feel very welcome. They have clearly worked very hard to restore the house to its former glory.

Myself and my husband stayed here after a wedding in Durrow Hotel at the weekend. Everything about this guesthouse is top class. Firstly we received a very warm welcome and were promptly checked in. The bedroom was great with two double beds, a large flat screen tv, lots of sunlight and a large clean bathroom. The bed was one of... More

Food here is fantastic with good portions. Excellent value for money. White Choclate Cheesecake is to die for - literally. Only complaint is the so called 'Apple Pie' on the menu. It is more of a french apple slice. Does not hit the spot for Dessert and looks mean in camparison to other desserts. Would avoid this one. Staff &... More

Stayed here for a recent wedding attended in the Castle. Accommodation was just like a hotel, beautiful modern bedrooms with lovely bathrooms. Rosetta was very friendly and welcomming and produced a great breakfast! Highly recommend and would stay again.

What a great place! My wife and I stayed here last Thursday when attending a wedding at Castle Durrow. We thought it would be nice to stay "far from the madding crowd" and enjoy a little tranquility after the hurly burly of the wedding. Location wise it was literally only 5 minutes walk through the castle gates across the road... More

After a 50 minute wait for our table, the food wasn't fresh to our table. Service was very disappointing - Seems the management wasn't too keen on accepting our dissatisfactory and only presented us with an excuses and blamed other diners for arriving late. Such a pity, as the food quality is very good. Compliments to the chef - But... More
