Upon arriving teh hotel was amazing, checking in at reception while overlooking the pool and bar with an infinity pool right in front of you. Then after a brief welcome and overveiw of the site we was led my a lovely... More

Stayed at the Tamassa In April 2012. We had never been to Mauritius before and decided to go after we could not get to the Maldives. The Hotel was excellent and the staff very helpful. The room we had was really nice, with a huge bathroom. Only a minute or two to the beach or any of the hotel amenities.... More

A very clean hotel, lots to do, pity about the beach though. The staff were all friendly and helpful, our room very nice, the bathroom needs just a bit of a spruce up. The food was okay, Playa restaurant, which everyone raves about, now only changes its ïnclusive" menu once a week, which is a pity. "Show" restaurant is buffet,... More

SUMMARY: Very nice hotel with great service and lots of water sport activities. Drawback: The beach, prices are high. For details read below: Pools: There are three large pools at the hotel, and all three are built very nicely. They are of the "no-border" type, meaning the water flows over the edge, giving you unlimited view beyond the surface of... More

My wife and I have recently returned from a week's stay at Tamassa after celebrating our silver wedding anniversary from 2nd to 9th May. We flew with Emirates airlines and cannot state how great the service from all of the cabin crew on our flights. Our transfer from the airport with Connections was excellent. From the moment we arrived at... More

My Partner and myself went to Tamassa from the 22nd April until the 4th May and stay of 12 nights. We flew with BA (for the first time) and unfortunately were disappointed with the level of maintenance and general repair inside the Economy seats. On the way out after paying for extra legroom seats the fold out tv screens kept... More

We went to Tamassa for our Honeymoon in May 2012 and It is a decent place. The residents are mostly europeans. The scenic beauty is awesome. The beach is very relaxing and the staff is very cordial. However, I was not happy with the food as I am a vegetarian. There are very limited food options in Tamassa for Veggies.... More

We went to the Tamassa in October 2011 for my 40th birthday. Our party included me and my husband and my two children, then aged 8 and 6. We are frequent long haul travellers and last went to Mauritius for our honeymoon in 1999, where we stayed at the Maritim (now financially out of our league!!) Our flights were great... More

We stayed at Tamassa for 2 weeks over Easter 2012, and were absolutely delighted with all aspects of our holiday. The hotel rooms and grounds were immaculate, our room (2002) had in fact been upgraded on our arrival, so we were in the first block right on the beach, with an idyllic view. Our family party covered ages 13 to... More
