My (new) husband & I spent 3 nights at Ol Pejeta Conservancy at this camp which was absolutely awesome. The "tent" itself was a huge, luxurious lodge - the attention to detail was amazing (even putting hot water bottles in our bed at night) Before heading out for our safari, freshly made coffee & cookies were delivered to our tent.... This was our first Kenyan Safari,( we went on to Kicheche Mara Bush camp) and our four nights were superb. Tents extremely comfortable, food excellent and very well served; led by Andy & Sonya the friendliness was remarkable. Our guide was skilled and helpful (there were never more than 4 guests per vehicle) and we saw many things , more... More

Five of us have just revisited Kicheche for the second time in 3 years. I have to say this Ol Pejeta conservancy is an amazing success story with exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities and the Kicheche Camp is an experience no one will ever forget. We have been safari-ing in Kenya every year for six years but had never seen wild... More

This was our second visit to Kenya on safari and we chose the Kicheche Laikipia Camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and we were definitely not disappointed! The tents are large and very comfortable even down to hot water bottles in the bed at night and tea/coffee delivered with our wakeup call. The camp hosts are 2 of the nicest... More

Just in JKIA on our way home. 5 nights safari (2 of which were at Laikipia) 5 nights relaxing in Zanzibar. The hosts, Andy and Sonia and their team were remarkable for their ability to make you feel at home and extremely cosseted. They are wonderful hosts. The variety and quality of the wildlife was great, and our guide (Joseph)... More

It has has taken me a while to get around to writing this, but one and a half years after visiting (September 2011), it’s easy to remember how good this camp is. It was our first safari and we combined our stay here in Ol Pejeta with Naboisho Asilia (outstanding camp), which is in the Mara Naboisho conservancy. It makes... More

We stayed at Kicheche Laikipia camp in Sep 2012. We had an absolutely fantastic time. Andy and Sonia and their team were superb hosts and we could not have asked for more. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact everyone was so very kind and there was a genuine feeling from all the staff that if you were happy then... More

We went to Kicheche first week of Jan (not sure of exact date but who cares when you are in Africa!) It's a fantastically well run camp and we still can't believe how Andy and Sonja's team turn out such superb food. BIG quantities though so ask for small portions if you want. The team of staff are a huge... More

Coming back to visit Sonja, Andy and everyone at Laikipia truly feels like coming home. I visited in October 2012--just one year after my first visit to this camp. Everything remains just as I remember: Friendly, efficient staff, beautiful tents and grounds, superb food--and the best safari experience you could ask for. I've been lucky enough to have Mohammed as... More
