If you don't want luxury but you want comfort,If you don't want animals that yawn whilst you watch them, but instead are still wary of your vehicle then this is the place to go. We had the most wonderful four days at this incredibly well run eco-centred ,well equipped camp. Our guide and driver Benjamin and Julius took us on an... More

Why did we not book for three nights? From our first lunch under the trees to a final breakfast drive we loved every minute. This camp has only six tents so one feels privileged to be able to enjoy this conservancy and not be surrounded by vehicles all heading for the same animals! The tents were simple but well fitted... Porini camps: Rhino, Mara, Lion, and Nairobi.   We went during the slow season and so the tent camps were mostly empty. Even the lovely Lion Camp was mostly empty. The camps are all comfortable. The beds are comfortable. The service was consistent and timely. Might I say impeccably timely. The game drives were really great. The guides and the... More

We stayed in Rhino Camp in January for 3 nights. The camp is located in Ol Pejeta Conservency which has a sanctuary for one of the rarest animals on earth, the northern white rhino. There are only 7 white rhinos left in existance and 4 of them are located in this sanctuary. The sanctuary is also home to the endangered... More

Mathew made our stay with his attention to detail; the service, the food, the staff...The whole experience. (Just) Bill and Daniel were wonderful guides who took us out on a 11 hour game drive and really made it a great day. The conversation by the fire with the staff and he Maasai warriors each evening was a great way too... More

I have been meaning to write this review for some time. In August, I took an eight night safari with Gamewatchers at three Porini Camps, Amboselli, Lion and Rhino Camps. I will review the others in additional reviews. I am a single woman who traveled solo. From the beginning, the experience with Porini was professional, easy and completely comfortable. I... More

this was our second porini camp and we loved it just as much as the other two. this camp is special because of the access to the rhinos, black and the nearly extinct white rhinos. also the chimpanzee reserve is not to be missed. as with the other two camps, the staff is unbelievably friendly and gracious. great drivers and... This was camp #2 of 4 Porini camps on my trip to Kenya, spending 2 nights at each camp. The Rhino camp was just as exciting as my first camp, with different big game animals and friendly knowledgeable staff. My accommodations included a wonderful large, clean tent with ensuite and everything I would need to make my stay another comfortable... More

Porini Rhino camp was my first stop for my 6 night Porini camp experience and everything was just perfect. As a female solo traveller travelling to Africa for the 1st time, I was a bit nervous before arrival. But the moment I step into Rhino camp, I felt like I was back home. All the staff were so nice and... More
