Our first experience of Luxury Tented Accommodation. The walk to the room was llloonngg. But surprising when we got there. The "tent" was great, it had separate bathroom facilities & the view across the "paddock" as it became to be known was great. Animals came & went as they pleased & they pleased us immensely. Linda lay awake one night... More

Went on a night safari with a full moon and saw lions, cheetahs, owls, buffalo and more! Really liked the gift shop with reasonable prices and friendly service! The chimp sanctuary was really inspiring. Lots of elephants, giraffe, zebras, impalas and more. We saw rhinos and wart hogs all in a short span of time. Beautiful views of Mt, Kenya... More

Set in a ranch with lots of common game, you get to feed Baraka the blind Rhino, you learn about Chimps and visit the Chimp sanctuary. This small but compact ranch has a lot to offer and close to Nairobi. You come back to your camp and get pampered the Serena way, hot water bottles in your bed, no mosquito’s... More

My 15 y/o son and I travelled to Kenya in April. SWTC was our first stop. We were welcomed warmly by Dominic. The watering hole (with 24-hour wildlife sighting) immediately created an impact. Based on reviews, I had asked for Tent #1 to #7. We were allocated #3, as close to the watering hole as you can get. Lovely views... More

Thanks to Odyssey Safari our group got to stay at this excellent tent camp. The watering hole in everyone's "backyard" brought many species of animals into close-up view. The food was varied and delicious, the accommodations uniformly spotless and welcoming. The staff was highly attentive and quick to please. Plus the variety of wildlife so close at hand made this... My wife and I travelled here with my brother. We did not know what to expect. Driving in the park we immediately saw wildlife. The conservation is full of it! Checking in was pleasant and easy. The staff is very friendly. We were blown away with the rooms. It is a luxurious cabin over looking a plain and watering hole... More

Although I did not stay here, I did do an inspection of the property. I was really impressed and would book a client here with no hesitation. The tents were roomy and had all the amenities of a 5 star hotel! The place was spotless with a small pool. It sits at the foot of Mount Kenya and is a... More

Nice and very quiet place for a family get away especially for the Nairobians who do not know about this beautiful place. Make sure you have some warm clothes since the place tends to get cold especially during the night and early morning. The staff are over friendly and the activities are good. Only recommendation would be to have sports... More

I can pitch my tent in the Hilton and did... at Sweetwaters. Wall to wall carpets. Granite top counters for dual sinks. Tiled bathroom floor. Teakwood furniture. Beds with luxury linens and duvet covered down quilts... glass doors fronting the watering hole... oh my. Add the chef in the toque and you have 5 star dining in a tent. Afternoon... More
