This is one of the high end resorts you see in movies! Well manicured lawns, a nice swimming pool with a glass hole, colourful birds. Plenty of activities - horse riding, golf, maze. The rooms are cosy with a fireplace. Advice: it gets freezing cold at night - so bring ur warms

We stayed in December. The staff was great very friendly and professional. The rooms are in very good shape. We stayed in the cottage which was worth the extra charge. Spectacular grounds and elegant rooms, but given the amount of money that the hotel charges per night the service was terrible and food was mediocre. The staff were friendly and are trying hard but need some serious training to service a hotel of this calibre. We will not be returning.
