Stayed at Curry Village for a few days. Was what I expected, nice clean canvas tent, and comfortable beds. We were never too hot or cold. Slept fine. Food was also what we expected. Beer tasted great after a long hike, oatmeal was a good start to our day. It worked great for our hiking trip. Bathrooms were crowded there... More

If you're expecting Hilton in the brush, you're going to be seriously disappointed. If you're looking for an affordable (relative to Yosemite prices...but that's still $100ish per night) roof over your head in a convenient location, then Curry Village is the place for you. You're tucked away beautifully in the eastern end of the park, with great views of Half... More

Our group spent two nights in the canvas tents here at Camp Curry for our hike to Half Dome. There were two twins and a double in each of the rent, which provided adequate space. Granted, this place was a bit pricey for what you get (about $125/night for "CAMPING"), but most of the lodging in Yosemite costs a lot... More

I'll start with the positives .. Camp Curry is centrally located in Yosemite Valley, with fantastic views and very convenient to the shuttle service and major attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have younger children (we don't) they would probably enjoy staying here. The tent cabins however are absolutely awful. The beds are uncomfortable, the linens are... More

All lodging in Yosemite is seriously overpriced, so expect to pay best part of £100 a night for a bed in a tent. However, it is clean and it is in the middle of Yosemite. There is a shower block, towels are provided but it could do with a little TLC. There is also a swimming pool, we didn't use... More

We stayed one night in June during our tour of California. Don't be fooled by the pictures, unless you are on the very edge, your view will be of another 100 other tents. The tents are close enough you can stand and touch two at at time, so don't expect privacy. The beds were good, and much better than tent... More

If your looking for a 4 star Hotel then this is not for you. However, this is a great way for us to see the park and not have to carry camping gear across the country. There are a few wooden cabins but you need to reserve them almost a year ahead. The canvas cabins have wood floor with real... More

We stayed in the log cabins for 2 nights at Curry Village. If you don't want to sleep in a tent or in a canvas tent cabin, this is a step up from that. The log cabin had 2 double beds and its own bathroom & shower. The room and furnishings were pretty basic, but met expectations for a log... More

We were so excited to be going to Yosemite and staying in our own "Cabin" with a bathroom..then we arrived. The "Cabin" was actually part of a duplex..It was FILTHY..the temperature was unexpectedly HOT..and there was NO AIR CONDITIONING, CEILING FANS..or even screens without HOLES in them. There were 4 windows, and only two windows opened..the SCREENS are FULL OF... More

If you are familiar with camping in your own camping tent, then the Canvas Tent Cabins at Curry Village are definitely a GREAT UPGRADE !! However, if this will be your first experience in camping, be prepared and open-minded, this is not a hotel and it is not for everybody. The positive: You can stand high, stretch and still be...
