Spouse and I stayed 3 nights in the Dogwood section of the hotel as part of a nature tour group. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and of, course ideally situated directly across the road from the incredibly beautiful fully flowing Yosemite falls. We could hear “falling water” outside our room. There was a major disappointment, however, and... More

Had the good fortune of securing a room at the Yosemite Lodge last minute for an overnight trip to the park. Yes, the property looks like a throwback to the 50's, but I wasn't expecting modern luxury. This hotel is all about LOCATION...directly across from Yosemite Falls and a short hike to anywhere else in the valley. And if you... More

I really like the preservation idea in everything in the lodge. I know that some reviewers expected more for the money but, to me, it would be strange to see the Ritz in the middle of the National Park, 5 stars service is not what people are coming here for - it's the closeness to the most beautiful mountains and... I stayed in the Maple unit this past week. This building has been renovated and our room was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. We could see the Upper Falls from our balcony. The shuttle stop was about 20 yards from our stairway. The food court and front desk were just across the street and the free coffee was excellent. No... More

For $240 a night, you cetainly expect a fairly clean room with everything working. Not so at this dump. It's like a dirty, run-down Motel 6, and not even a coffee maker. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Base on reading previous reviews, we knew what to expect during our visit here. It is not the nicest hotel in the valley but it worked for us. We just wanted a decent place to sleep and shower and that's what we got. Our room was nice, although it had some condition issues it was up to date in most... More

We stayed here for 1 night in Sept 2012. The lodge has all basic amenities however it sure was expensive. My kids loved playing in the front yard, watching the squirrels and trees. The food court offers decent options and is fairly reasonable. We ate dinner and breakfast there. All major buses stop so it was pretty well connected to... More

Of all the hotels I booked in our US west coast tour, this was the most expensive and the most basic in terms of quality. However the price is to be expected considering that it is in a national park and this hotel is in very high demand. I had to book 6 months in advance, and all the dates... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of April. With Yosemite it is all about location as we were able to hike from our room to the top of Yosemite Falls-an extremely strenuous hike, but worth the views of the valley. Dining was close by and we had a great view of Yosemite Falls from our front door.... More
