We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect. While the hotel has certainly seen better days, it's in the best location. If you stay outside the park, you will drive for at least an hour to get into the Yosemite Valley, making the Lodge At The Falls worth the money. Accommodation is limited in the park but this is worth trying. Rooms are newly refurbished but basic and comfortable. Food outlets are basic and not cheap but a great base to explore the valley

Where else can you walk out of a lodge room and stare at Yosemite Falls? The rooms are a little dated but clean. The food at the cafeteria was pretty good and a little pricey, but there are not many choices without driving an hour. We ate three meals a day there from April 29-May 1.
