The location of the Madison Campground was nice and central to the park. The views were nice, but the spaces were too close together. No privacy from your neighbors. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth.

This campground in Yellowstone was very nice. Near Old Faithful and surrounding area, but a good drive to other parts of the park. Bathrooms were very clean, but no showers. You really can't go wrong with this campground. Surrounded on 2 sides by mountains, and with the Madison river just to the south, it is set in some very spectacular country. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly.

We stayed three nights at Madison in mid-September. We had a small trailer so our site was in loop E. The site was nice, the washrooms were very clean and we had no noise issues.
