Rooms are little small and dated. Can't beat the price. Place is clean. Motel was closing for the season, but the manager said he would meet me and open up. I was the only guest there. He was very nice and interesting person. Everyone should stay here.

A lovely hotel with a very cool manager. It's situated in a quiet part of the town. A grocery store and a Dairy Queen is nearby. The pool is nice too. The rooms are clean and big. My family and I stayed stopped there during our big trip from CA.

well it's really a budget hotel so you can't pretend ...... here rooms are around a little pool (that's a plus) in a way remembering motel from the 50's: they are small and basic like the bathroom but clean. Furniture inside the room gives a bit of sadness. Breakfast is included but it's very poor. Kind owner

Was welcomed to this motel by a charming man who checked us in. The room, while not luxury, was perfectly adequate. Clean, roomy and well equipped. We stayed one night here on our way to Wind Cave National Park. The manager was quite friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. As others have noted, the buildings are not new, but they were well-built and are therefore very quiet, and they are kept up well. Good coffee and basic breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Wally was very helpful, providing maps and information on Wind Cave National Park as well as Rapid City and the surrounding area, and telling us the best place to spot buffalo nearby.
