Despite being close to the px/commissary/whatever, the prices on post are just as high as anywhere on the island if not higher. As an example, I needed to replace my ps3 shortly after arriving to schofield and the px had one system for $399. Even though you don't pay taxes in the px, it was still cheaper to buy the... More

First the good, location, if you are assigned to Schofield Barracks obviously it's a great place to stay while awaiting quarters. It's within easy walking distance to the PX, Commissary, Military Clothing Sales, ACS, Legal, and Division HQ. The cleaning crew are great. They were nice and addressed room problems ... when you brought them to their attention. The bad,... More

The Inn at Schofield Barracks is extremely overpriced because the military pays for the majority of the Soldiers' lodgings. Most Soldiers stay here when they do a permanent change of station (PCS) or on temporary duty. I would venture to say that 90% of the guests fall into those 2 categories. With that being the case, the military will reimburse... More

This hotel is terribly overpriced. Extremely noisy. Air handling system made husband sick with strep throat. Cleaning services are good but they have no prblem bothering you early in the morning. Kitchenette only has microwave. No utensils of any sort. At almost $150 per night I was expecting much more!!!! The shopette has the highest prices anywhere on the island.... More

Amenities are about equivalent to a Motel-6 or Super8. AC is very weak. Coin-op washers and dryers are the cheapest kind. The parking lot is badly potholed. Housecleaning likes to knock at 8:30 am. Their lobby convenience store has the highest prices on post for any item. Their wireless internet has some very strict blockers that actually blocked me from... More

I stayed on the first floor in a big, quiet, spacious room. The bedding was plush and comfortable. The flat screen TV was nice and the wireless internet was fast and free. Good water pressure, and plenty of hot water. Staff is efficient and very friendly. I regretted having to leave.

Considering you get free parking, in room internet (both wireless and hardwired for you to chose from) free local phone calls and many more ammenities that you pay extra for when staying at other hotels on the island, this is a very economical place to stay. We found the employees to be very friendly and helpful all around. Home cooked... More

The employees are extremely warm and friendly (minus the grey haired manager who wouldn't let my wife borrow a pair of scissors). They work and understand the military very well and will work with them if there are any issues with TLA. The property is very well kept and beautiful banana trees in the courtyard set the tropical mood. Especially... More

Absolutely terrible. No internet, 1" gap under door that let in warm air, no ice box in refrigerator, kitchette without any dishs or silverware, airconditioning that barely works. Get this....you only get one packet of coffee per stay! At $140 per night, this is rediculous!!! Very noicy. Children are constantly playing in the courtyard and walkway in front of the... More
