Wow, what a beautiful place. Friendly enough inn keeper, left us to our own devices. The bathroom was enormous and the room very spacious as well. We enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep and helped ourselves to the breakfast spread in the morning. There is no fuss here, just comfort and space to enjoy yourself.

That's how I would characterize the weekend stay that my woife and I had for our 15th wedding anniversary. All I was looking for was a place that was decent, affordable, and a prime location. I got that, but based on the B&B's website and what it claimed to offer, I thought I was getting a little more. We stayed... More

We stayed in the Rosemist Suite ... it was really a suite. Additional sitting room with TV and a very modern bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't feel like we were visiting someone's home. We only saw the innkeeper when we checked in. We had their number. Breakfast is very small but we really didn't care about that.... More

If you love a rustic, Colonial home with modern amenities and close to town, you'll love the Brattle House. Friendly Inn keeper who takes care of you but is behind the scene and let's you feel at home. Good breakfast that you can eat when you are ready;no formal sit down. They have a cat, but you barely see him.

In a word, the Brattle House, was exceptional as an Inn...Barbara and Joe were really nice. The suites were truly clean and decorated in a bye-gone era which was so sweet...All amenites were provided. The breakfasts were delicious and ready for us when we arrived in the kitchen each morning. It was all so relaxing and tea and sweets were... More

The house is charming and conveniently located near all major points of interest. However, the walls are quite thin and you can hear what other guests are talking in the next room. The room facing the street is quite noisy and traffic stops late at night. At 3AM the smoke alarm went off , it seemed for ever! After about... More

Stayed here for two nights earlier this month. We had the room with the additional sitting room. In all this made a really very spacious suite. Very airy rooms in a lovely 18th century house. Excellent location in the middle of the old town but on a quiet street with off street parking - a real bonus in this place.... More

I can't recommend the Brattle House enough. It was the perfect place to stay for my trip to NWPT. It has: - A great location - Big, nicely decorated rooms with A/C - Privacy (there are only 2 rooms in the B&B) - A delicious homemade breakfast - Great common area - Parking - Great Rates - Very WARM and...
