The concept of an ultra modern inn in an old historic mill is enchanting. But they missed the mark. The rooms are uncomfortable, dark, gloomy. My gf and i decided to make a pit stop in Newport for the night and found this place on hoteltonight.com for $135. It's very clean, modern and close to Thames St. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was top notch. I would strongly recommend you stay here.

Just stayed in a very trendy hotel Newport , RI. the rooms very very nicely decorated and the hotel was very stylish . The staff very helpful and professional and its only a walk away from Thames Street, where all the shops and restaurants are located.
