We booked this as the cheapest place to stay in Medora based on Medora.com. The location is great and the rooms are fine - spacious, comfortable, and clean, if a bit outdated. Our experience was ruined by bad service, however. I would look elsewhere in Medora - perhaps the Americinn and get out of the TR Medora Foundation monopoly, which...

This hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, and a good place to stay. There are not many choices in Medora for lodging. Medora is like a company town of old. If you stay at the Badlands (or the Theodore Roosevelt Hotel) you are required to attend the Medora Musical. It is a good show at an outdoor theater. If you...

After a long day of driving we pulled into Medora. First two hotels we checked on were full, My husband was a little spectical about checking out this motel, however we were pleasantly surprised. No frills, but very clean with a comfortable bed, what more could a weary traveler ask for. would stay there again.
With Medora being a tourist tour, this motel is your best bet for affordability and still having amenities. Regular rate is $125/ night. The motel has cable, wireless internet, and a pool. The rooms are good sized and there are some updates. The bed was very comfortable, nut check you sheets and pillowcases for coffee stains. The bathroom is the...

We pulled into Medora after a long day of driving and golf. The motel was very easy to find and within walking distance of several choices for food and drinks. The motel is very dated and the rooms are fairly dark. The beds were comfortable, but our air conditioner didn't work properly. The A/C ran all night long, but was...

Reminded me of "Radiator Springs" from Cars movie, but we enjoyed it here. The 1960s motel wasn't fancy, but it was clean and we had a good sleep after being on the road. There are individual air conditioners in each room (hanging over the door) so that masks any sort of noise. The town is touristy and an easy walk...

We were very pleased with the Badlands motel. It was much cheaper than the Rough Rider in & had everything we needed. Check in was a little slow.
When I made reservations nearly 1 year in advance I requested a room close to the pool since we were going to have an infant with us. I did reserve 3 rooms and only wanted one near the pool. They said they would put the request in. 2 weeks before our stay I again called to request a room near...

My first memory of the Badlands hotel is like when I was 8. I am 46 now. I have been there over and over again thru the years. Nothing ever changes. The decor is the same, they have hung different pictures, went to different bedcovers and have given up keys for key cards, but really the rooms are the same as...
