the rooms were clean and the new beds were comfortable. friendly staff and even though we were worried about how close the train tracks were when we arrived the new windows double paned I think were keeping all the noise out.

Don't even THINK about staying here. I'm staying here tonight... moving to another motel tomorrow am... My room is a sty. Fridge doesn't work. Holes in bedcovers and curtains... sheets and matress pad, too small for bed. shower rod wedged in with two small bars of soap... bathroom tub stopped up.... caulking arouond tub disgustingly dirty. bedside lamp doesn't work.......

For the past 24 years we have made a yearly visit to the Twi-lite and have been treated like old friends, even through some ownership changes. The old bunkhouse, although old and used still has the best up-stairs porch in the world for old time train and people watching.
