This was a charming bed and breakfast. I stayed upstairs in the Lily room which had a small balcony that looked out onto Mt. Elna. Richard, the owner, was so warm and friendly. He really made sure I was comfortable and well-taken care of. The B and B is off the main road in a quiet, residential area. There is... More

We've made about ten trips here in the last eight years. We stay at Starlight Pines because we find our room very comfortable, the hosts accommodating, the dining and sitting areas attractive and the home-prepared breakfasts taste fresh and good. The property is small. (4 bedrooms) which allows for interesting conversation around the dining table.

I have stayed at Starlight Pines B/B many times in the past 4 years. Richard & Michael are so very accomodating and the breakfasts are always two courses. The Eggs Verticale is my favorite! The environment at Starlight Pines is so inviting to talk and interact with other guests, including Richard & Michael Starlight Pines is a little more than... More

There Are just not enough good things to say about this b&b. We stayed for a long weekend to tour grand canyon, petrified forest and painted desert. First, was the incredibly welcoming innkeeper himself. We had several opportunities to interact with him. First, he welcomed our family of 6 last minute, late (we called at about 7pm arriving at 11!!)... More

I had another stay at Starlight B&B; there was not one disappointment. The two innkeepers are thoughtful and courteous to provide anything we needed. Breakfast and amenities were excellent as always. It remains one of my favorite places to stay, a home away from home.

We will be going back to Starlight Pines B&B in a couple of weeks; the trip in December to Starlight Pines B&B was amazing. Richard and Michael had out done themselves the decoration made their B&B an enchanting place to be at Christmas time. At night the fireplace was lit, the Christmas lights were on the tree and the slight... More

My wife and I have stayed at 60+ B&Bs during the past 12 years and we would rate the Starlight Pines amongst our favorites. It was clean and comfortable and convenient to the places we planned to visit. But most importantly, Richard (the owner) was warm, friendly, and engaging. Anyone can change sheets and cook eggs, but Richard made us... More
