“An old-school motel at an affordable price.”

An early winter snowstorm drove me into this motel. Front desk reception was cold and unfriendly. The room was small and drafty, but its heater made it warm enough when set high. The Chisholm is a fine motel located off US1 in Saugus, about 20 minutes from downtown Boston. The rooms are quite nice and the property is very well maintained. We were visiting boston in summer time. Most of the places were packed. Room prices on Rt. 60 and on Rt. 1 were un-expectedly high. The Courtyard was $189 for single.
