Garrett's is in one of the best locations you can find for Santa Fe, especially for the price. To stay someplace nicer is easily double the price. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location really can't be beat. With the price of a room, you will get a basic, clean room with wifi, tv, phone and ac/heat as... More

My friend (who is a firefighter) and I had reservations here for a girls weekend. Due to an evacuation in our home town related to a fire we had to head back immediatly. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us. They let us out of our reservation and at one point even tried to find a... More

Wife and I spent one night here going to AZ and and one night on the return. Both nights were VERY pleasant. Leslie & Felicia were extremely pleasant and helpful with directions and advice. Beds were comfortable, rooms quiet, and chairs outside to enjoy a late night drink. Value for close proximity to Plaza was excellent. Breakfast at in-house cafe... More

Garrett's is an old hotel in need of renovations. Start with the front desk, lobby and large side room - these areas are stuck in the 70's and could be updated with a small investment. In the rooms themselves - new beds, carpet and tv's would go a long way. Once you charge over $100 per night your guest has... More

We stayed here for a week and found this Inn very comfortable and convenient, it was just about perfect for our needs. We booked a suite with a sofa bed in the lounge, I found the main bed very comfortable and slept very well indeed, my friend on the sofa bed wasn't quite so comfortable. Our room had a fridge... it's one of the cheaper hotels in the old Sante Fe area, but is very over-priced for the quality. It's probably on par with cheap motels. The carpet is darkened from old age, almost dark enough to hide the dead spiders curled up on it, of which there were two in the room I stayed in on May 6th, 2012.... More

The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were lumpy and the linens were grayish. As were the towels. A "burgundy" or "maroon" shiny quilted bedspread that had seen better days 10 years ago. Lighting is horrible so take a clip on lamp if you want to read in bed - there is no lounge chair or recliner. I'll stay at... More

Our experience here at the Desert Inn was brief but enjoyable. Check in was smooth and efficient. Front desk agent offered dinner recommendations and set us up with a map of the area and highlighted major points of interest. All of these points were within a 5 minute walk which emphasizes the superb location of this hotel. We were close... More

If you are visiting Santa Fe on any kind of budget, then this is the place to stay. The rooms had this odd nod to southwestern decor... if you consider burgandy and sea foam green to be southwestern. (that was the bathroom tile combination, strictly 1960's) The room smelled of cleaning materials, which I guess is better than the alternative.... More

This unpretentious and modestly priced large motel is just two blocks from the Main Plaza in Santa Fe. Very close to Plaza attractions and dozens of restaurants, shops, and things to do. Very close to many state office buildings. The motel itself is a bit run down but clean enough and adequate as an economical base for time in Santa... More
